How have I not known this was a thing? Like most great Toyotas, it was apparently once available with a 22r.

I think were looking for a LHD, MT, SR5 (the Inclinometer is bae), and maybe a diesel. Dads a Toyota and Lexus Mastertech but we dont have diesel in the US for some dumb reason which might be a turn off for him when we can probably get any part for the gas engine we need easy.

goo net exchange. I know it reads funny but they have prados and other land cruisers up to the late 80s. Importing services are another story.

I know that diesel Toyota bits are probably not easy to come by in the US, but these engines are literally all over every other surface of the planet. It can't be that hard owning one eh?

My buddy who just moved to Uganda is looking for one of these (over there). I told him if he greases the right palms, he can probably get it back home when he moves back next year. Also, congrats on being friends with your dad!

Haha we get along. Especially when he’s working on the LS. I need to keep it alive.
